Details of International Government Communication Forum 2020 Agenda to be Unveiled Tomorrow (Wednesday)

The Sharjah International Government Communication Centre (IGCC), a subsidiary of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB), will host a press conference tomorrow, (February 19), to reveal the agenda of the ninth edition of the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF 2020), which will be held on March 4 – 5, 2020, at the Expo Centre Sharjah.

The press conference will be held at 10:30am at Al Majaz Amphitheatre, in the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Chairman of Sharjah Media Council (SMC); HE Tariq Saeed Allay, Director of Sharjah Government Media Bureau; and Jawaher Al Naqbi, Manager of IGCC.

The event will reveal IGCF 2020’s key panel topics and discuss the central themes of the interactive sessions and workshops, which will see participation from renowned local and international communication experts.

IGCC invites all media representatives, along with government communication units at various institutions, and all interested parties to attend the interactive gathering, where development issues, social responsibility, rules of behaviour change, ethics and regulations, and institutional frameworks will be discussed.

Organised at Expo Centre Sharjah, the ninth edition of IGCF will focus on four main pillars: ‘Embedding a culture of engagement in government’, ‘Technology as a community enabler’, ‘Communication through culture’, and 'Holistic wellbeing'.
