    • Moral and monetary return, and knowledge gains for the winners and nominees 
    • Individual winners receive AED …..
    • Recognition of shortlisted participants' efforts and achievements.
    • Participants benefit from the knowledge gained through evaluating their submissions by the judging panel.
    • Participants contribute directly and indirectly to providing inspirational knowledge models for best communication practices.
    • Winners' submission files will be used as a reference for training courses provided by the International Government Communication Centre.
  • Q: Is it possible to participate in more than one category? What is the maximum number of participations?

    A: Yes, it is possible to participate in more than one category, and each participant may submit up to three participations
  • Q: Is it possible to participate in more than one category using the same material?

    A: You cannot participate in more than one category using the same material.
  • Q: Is it possible to submit a project which was managed by a third party?

    A: No, projects managed by a third party are not acceptable.
  • Q: Is it possible to submit a hardcopy of the application?

    A: All applications must be electronic through the official award website.
  • Q: If a technical error happens and the judges are not able to view the electronic file, will the submission be ignored?

    A: No, the application will not be ignored and the applicant will be contacted in such a situation on the contact information provided by the applicant in the form.
  • Q: Is it possible for students and graduates to apply for categories other than the ones specified for students?

    A: No, they can only submit for their own specific category.
  • Q: Is it possible for a government entity in Sharjah to participate in categories targeted at GCC countries?

    A: Yes, government entities in Sharjah can participate in categories targeted at GCC countries.
  • Q: Are government entities notified if they win or qualify for the finals?

    A: Finalists are notified up to two weeks ahead of the Award’s closing ceremony. However, winners are only announced during the ceremony.
